Pits of Joy works by neutralising the odour-causing bacteria, whilst still allowing your body to do what it does naturally.

To break it down; sweat itself doesn’t actually smell. It’s the bacteria that live on your skin consuming the proteins and lipids in your sweat, that causes the odour. So if you eliminate the bacteria, you eliminate the smell!

Natural deodorants are a great choice for people with sensitive skin as they don't contain harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances. However some people might be sensitive to particular ingredients, so it's essential that you check the ingredient list for anything that might cause irritation.

Pits of Joy's unique formulation is both effective at eliminating odour while also being gentle on sensitive skin. People who’ve experienced a reaction to other natural deodorants, often find they tolerate this range well, and their natural deodorant prayers have been answered! However everyone is different, and if you do experience a reaction, please discontinue use.

Gently rub a pea-size amount under each armpit into the area where hair sometimes grows. Much like wasabi, a little bit goes a long way, and using more won’t make it anymore effective, so no need to lather up.
For best results apply Pits of Joy to freshly laundered skin after bathing. If you’re already a hot mess, never fear; pop some on and it’ll get you through. Either way, just be sure to give it a minute to absorb before you put a top on.

Just rub the paste into the skin below your hair, and the hair itself.

If you do remove your hair, we just suggest that you do it in the evening, as the process can cause your skin to become more sensitive. But if that’s not possible, just give it 30 minutes or so before applying.

On average, a 55g jar will provide you with between ten and twelve weeks of joy with daily application.

Once opened, your jar will be good for 12 months.

Just like you, Pits of Joy is made using 100% natural ingredients, that can be affected by changes in ambient temperature. For this reason it’s best not to let it get too warm, or leave it in the car or on a window sill. If it does become too hot, give it a good stir and put it in the fridge to cool down.

From there, head through to the checkout and agree to having your card billed at your chosen time interval. And voila! Your deodorant will arrive on your door step just when you need it. No more running out, just set and forget!

You’re in total control of your subscription from when you set it up. Change address, pause, restart or cancel at anytime, simply by logging into your Account.

For hygiene and safety reasons, we’re unable to accept returns or provide refunds on opened or used products.
For all unopened and unused products, we have a 15 days returns policy. Just return the product to us in it’s original packaging and in the condition that you received it, and once its been received and inspected, we’ll be in touch with further information. Please be aware that in the case of returns or refunds, we don’t cover shipping costs.

As everyone’s skin chemistry is unique, its important that you look after yours. If you notice a reaction, please discontinue use.
